PeKa Repeats Finnish Womens League Champions

Peka 79 - Catz 68 

PeKA is once again the Naiset Finnish League Champions for the second time in a row. PeKa came out strong and was able to take the series 3-1 while winning on their home court.  Both teams fought hard as the Catz started the first period very strong closing it out 18-12. However, Peka opened the second period pretty strong. After the half, Catz dominated but the strong defensive efforts by PeKa allowed them to control all of the fourth period scoring 28-15.

MVP of the Championships was awarded to Shanika Freeman who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds.
