Team S-Hämeenmaa Sign Freeman and Marlow

Two of the leagues top Americans , scorers and rebounders Kieraah Marlow and Shanika Freeman of the Finnish Women's Basketball League have signed with Team S-Hämeenmaa. Marlow played during her second year with Team S-Hämeenmaa and averaged  22,9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.9 assist per game. Freeman last year averaged 17.4 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Ka

New head coach and former Finnish National Team player Mari Puustinen will take on her new task as an head coach for the top league in Finland. Team S-Hämeenmaa was almost close to winning a championship last year, with these signings they will be a sure contender.

Note: Taru Tuukkanen has settled back in Finland as well serving as the head assistant coach of the B-Team in Topo, her former team before playing 12 years abroad.
