Katie Douglas Signs With CSKA Moscow 2008-09 Season

CSKA Moscow is happy to have Katie Douglas join the team for the 2008-2009 season. Last year the coach Gundars Vetra would have liked to see Douglas on his team, "I would have loved to see Douglas in the team a year ago, too". Katie Douglas last year played with Ros Casares where she did extremely well when she entered during the middle of the season. However, her team did not make it to the Euroleague finals as the team projected to complete. 

CSKA Moscow is basically trading players, with top Spanish player Amaya Valdemoro who will return back to Ros Casares with hopes of leading them to many league titles; and Katie Douglas to CSKA Moscow. Both players are sharp shooters, scorers and defenders so both teams will gain experience from the respective positions.
