With the game being played fron the backcourt PDV got back in front with 3:25 remaining for the break after a threepointer from Laura Navarro that made it 34-33 but then Ibiza blocked themselves in the offense and Valencia took adventage of that making a 10-0 run that made it 45-36 at the interval.
Katie Douglas was instrumental in Ros offense scoring 12 pts and grabbing 5 rebounds at the first half while being followed all over the court by PDV’s Star, Silvia Morales who made 9 pts and dished 3 assists. Alicia López helped Morales with 8 pts while Delisha Milton-Jones and Elena Tornikidou had seven apiece for Ros
After the break the game remained the same, Ros kept their noses in front, despite Puig D’en Valls didn’t stop trying to comeback but they hadn’t fortune by their side and the third ended 57-49 for Ros
Maybe the weariness payed its toll on the balearic who in certain stages were imprecise in the offense, not being able to find a way through Ros Casares’ defense and giving them some important second options that lead Ros to a top adventage of 14 pts
Despite of that Jordi Fernández’s girls emptied themselves on the court and closed the gap to 66-60 with two minutes remaining, but then KT Douglas appeared again to score 5 straight points (3+2 TL) to seal Valencia’s victory. Silvia Morales closed the scoreboard whit a last trey to make it 71-63
KT Douglas had 23 pts and 6 rebounds for the Valencia outfit, joined by 12 and 6 boards from Marina Ferragut and 11 and 10 rebounds from Delisha Milton-Jones.
Silvia Morales had 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, with Sancho Lyttle weighin in with 12 pts and 8 boards. Laura Navarro scored also 13 for PDV.
