Spanish Liga Femenina 2008 Regular Season Coming To An End

This years Spanish Liga Femenina is coming to an end and there are several teams fighting for the eighth spot in the playoffs. The current standings:

CB Olesa Espanyol and Gran Canarias are two teams that are hoping to make their last chance for playoff action this Saturday. Both teams will need to win and hope that Cadi La Seu is defeated by San Jose who is 4th in league standings. All games will be played at 19:00 local time in Spain.

Next week will commence the Liga Feminina 2 playoffs with two teams that will ascend to the top Liga Femenina.
