USP-CEU Estudiantes 71- Sant Andria 54

USP-CEU Estudiantes started the game strong by taking advantage of poor shooting by Sant Andria. Estudiantes Erika Gomez lead the team in scoring in the first half, while Laura Plans helped bring back Sant Andria into the game in the second period. Plans came up with big time steals and baskets to lead the team in scoring with 9 and Santia Jackson grabbed 7 rebounds all in the second period.

At halftime the Estudiantes only lead by 9 points going into the 3rd period (32-23). In the second half it was all Estudiantes with numerous easy shots and shooting percentage from the arc. Sant Andria had troubles defensively and were not able make easy shots under the basket. Estudiantes outscored Sant Andria 24-8 in the 3rd period and was able to get a comfortable lead going into the fourth. Sant Andria came as close as 12 points but could not overcome the large lead of Estudiantes.

Laura Plans lead all scorers with 17 points and Santia Jackson with 15 rebounds.
