Ruth Riley Back Playing Basketball Overseas

Ruth Riley, one the most active players in the WNBA and NBA who reaches out to underdeveloped countries with her charities and spoken help. However, during the start of 2009, Riley will be playing back in Spain on a team in Madrid, Covibar Rivas Ecópolis. Ruth Riley will look to enforce the center position as Rivas looks to be competitive for the 2009 Queens Cup and the LF playoffs.

Riley will be joined by Roneeka Hodges who replaces Cathy Joens who is out due to an ACL injury. Hodges formly started the season with Ros Casares but decided to make the change. Her replacement is Candace Wiggins.
