Candace Wiggins has arrived in Spain after signing a contract with Ros Casares in late December. Wiggins will replace American and WNBA player Roneeka Hodges who came to an agreement with the team to leave. Hodges will be teaming up with Ruth Riley in Rivas Escopolis in Madrid.
Wiggins the WNBA Six Woman Player of the Year 2008, is excited to play in Ros Casares with DeLisha Milton-Jones, who has been a long time role model for Wiggins. Also, Wiggins should fit in just fine as she speaks Spanish as she studied back in college. Ros Casares is looking to sweep all categories this year with their super fab 5+ line up. From the Spanish League, European League and Queens Cup.
