The late minutes of the game were overwhelming for Tanit, nevertheless they kept chances to win until then  

Tanit started the game better than Burgos who struggled in the offense while in defense stopped efficiently the powerful duo Lori Nero-Tenay Beachem who couldn’t keep the level shown during regular season. Beachem was Tanit’s best scorer the first ten minutes with 7 pts.

With that inner difficulties Ibiza put the ball outsider where Eva Yepes and Cris López, plus Silvia Lara on the fast break, put Ibiza ahead in the first 5 minutes (11-6 was the best lead) Burgos stepped up in defense and began the comeback, they struggled in the shooting though, until they finally turn the game over with two minutes to the end of the first with a Demetress Adams basket to make it 12-11, beginning then a trade until the end of the first in which Tanit would regain the lead and reached the second ahead, 19-17, upsetting a struggling Arranz Jopisa.

Both teams struggled to score again in the second. Gustavo Lalima’s team controlled the game in the beginning and had a biggest lead of 23-18 after a basket from Silvia Lara. Burgos reacted properly and its perimeter paid off for them, keeping them in the game and being the cornerstone of the comeback. Eva Lozano put Burgos ahead with two freebies, 24-23. Beachem would level for at 27 for Ibiza. It would be the last time the score was tied after which  Burgos scored 5 straight points and would never look back, reaching halftime 32-27 ahead.

Lalima surprised Burgos with  a zone defense and his team put into two points, 34-32, after two minutes, but Eva Lozano would appear with 5 straight points to make it 39-32. While teams kept struggling to score, it would be Bourges who would controlled the game finally and added slowly points to its advantage to finally reach the fourth 49-38 ahead, after a threepointer from Tanit’s former player, Iratxe Cabrera.

With Burgos controlling the game in the last quarter, the poor shooting continued, mostly for Ibiza, but with four miutes remaining a trey from Eva Yepes gave Ibiza its last breath closing the gap to 8 pts, 55-47. The team then seemed to give away and Eva Lozano again, scored 7 straight pts  –capped with a three pointer to ice the game for Guillermo Fernández’s team, 62-47, with barely 2 minutes remaining. It was a knockout blow for Ibiza that would just score one point in that last four minutes while Burgos was en rouite to the final 70-48.

Tenay Beachem had 13 pts and 8 boards for Ibiza. Siliva Lara added 10 pts

In Burgos Eva Lozano was the best scorer with 20 pts., Francielle Nascimento added 10 pts and Demetress Adams 9.
