Israel is doing well in their preparation for Eurobasket 2007 in Italy by beating Hungary 82-60. The spark came from standout player Liron Cohen who put on a show by scoring 33 points, 5-8 from 3point range with a high 72.2%. The momentum for the Israel Womens Basketball Team is great at the moment as they look to improve.

"In the first half we saw how good and talented the Hungarians are, and that just makes this win that much bigger", said Eli Rabi after the game. "But we have to finish the job. We can't miss out, we have some breathing room and we can't miss out on this chance. I take my hat off to the girls for not losing their heads after the first half".

Saturday, September 15th Israel will face Bulgaria in the tournament final.
