Round Up Groups A, B, D

In Group A Latvia confirmed their place in the qualifying round after a hard fought victory against Israel. The game went to the wire and Latvia cool head at the free throw line deep into money time was the difference in the end as they won (77-73). The defending champions Czech Republic won comfortable 86-62 to also qualify for the qualifying round.

In Group B, Kathy Wambe (15 points) and Anne Wauter (16 points) help Belgium maintain their perfect record as they downed Germany (63-51) to remain in first place and qualify for the qualification round, while in the other match Lithuania got their championship back on track with a routine victory (67-50)

In Group D: Nothing is go right for Croatia as they lost (92-62) to Belarus. Croatia had no answer against the Belarus trio Troina,Volnaya and Leuchanka. Croatia are now in serious danger of going out of this competition.

Spain beat Serbia 79-76 and confirmed their place in the qualifying round. Spain started again with strong defense as they did against Belarus and guard Elisa Aguilar had a big game.
