Euroleague 2010 Quarterfinals Set

Wisla Can-Pack will head to the Elite Eight of the Euroleague Women 2010 Championship games after defeating MiZo Pécs 2010. Halcon Avenida struggled but managed to fight against Bourges Basket to make it to the next round, trying to match last year spot in the Finals. Rivas Ecópolis lost at home to Frisco Sika Brno 63-77.

The biggest match up of these teams are Ros Casares vs Halcon Avenida. They have been rivals in the Spanish league for the past decade. Last year, Halcon Avenida surprised everyone by making it to the finals. Ros Casares has never made it and never won the Euroleague despite their super signings and All-Star team.

This will be interesting to watch and Avenida will look to challenge Ros as they won each of the Spanish titles for the 2009-2010 Champion (SuperCup and Queens Cup).
