The Council of Ministers in Spain awarded Spanish citizenship by naturalization, to Liga Feminina and WNBA standout Tracy Constance Sancho Lyttle.
Lyttle is currently signed with Perfumias Avenida for the 2010-2011 season and is a natural born citizen of St. Vincent and Grenadines. "In exceptional circumstances it as having excellent physical and technical qualities to excel in basketball, which can help to raise the national team's potential future projects, as their selection for the World Championships," explain Lyttle.
The FEB president commented, "Sancho is a fully integrated player in our basketball and our country, and it has led us on many occasions its interest in becoming part of our selection, which of course satisfy us." José Luis Sáez believes that the input of the selection Lyttle feminine "can be a significant leap in quality and for the next round of the team, the World in the Czech Republic in September."
Lyttle hopes to contribute a lot to the Spanish Women's National Team who finished with the Bronze medal in the Eurobasket 2009 Competition in Latvia. Currently, Lyttle is playing in the WNBA with the Atlanta Dream and averaging 15,3 points y 10,9 rebounds per game.
