After a leveled first quarter in which Sweden survived France reaching the end of  the first ten minutes in front,20-18, France came out with a vengeance in the second quarter. Combining their improved defence and their three-point shooting (They scored 8-for-8 in treys in the second) they pull away Sweden, reaching a 22 points advantage after two free throws from Mèdélomé Medenou, 51-29, with 2:09 remaining for the break.

Sweden refused to give in and made a 6-1 run in that late minutes to reach the interval trailing 52-35.

Coming back from the locker rooms the game remained the same. Sweden tried everything but France was too much for them. Gregory Halin’s team took complete control of the game, whether in the offense, as in defense and their killer percentage from the perímeter (15-of-29 overall) just helped France increasing its advantage until the final score which was 91-60 for the french.

France Coach moved all his players and everyone of them scored. Jan Enjebo also moved his bench since the comeback was impossible.

For France Margaux Okou Zouzouo had 17 pts, joined by Laurie Datchy and Isabelle Strunc with 11 apiece.

For Suecia Stefanie Ydeström scored 17 pts, and Danielle Hamilton-Carter and Frida Fogdemark added 10 apiece.
