France 90 - Bulgaria 44

France came out as intense as they have always been in this tournament, and with a 17-0 run in the first and left no room for anymore surprises in the day. Bulgaria was overwhelmed in front of France's game that cruised the game to an easy 90-44 victory. Bulgaria was never a worry for the French coach, Gregory Halin, who moved all his bench and had no problem to call timeout to correct or demand more focusing to his players.

Stanislava Stankova, who was Bulgaria leading scorer with 15 pts, lead her team and tried to push her team but France was too strong for them and Ventislav Gechev's team never had a chance.

France had five players with double digits in scoring. Allison Vernerey had 14 pts and 7 boards. Diandra Tchatchouang  13 pts and 6 rebounds. Laurie Datchy had 11 pts and Pauline Thizy and Bettina Kadila scored 10 a piece.
