Vivian Stringer Naismith In Hall of Fame

On September 11, 2009: Vivian Stringer was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame along with almost the dream team of NBA basketball. Stringer was joined by: Michael Jordan, John Stockton, David Robinson and Jerry Sloan. Vivian Stringer was still in shock and disbelief that she was joining the Hall of Fame and even more with the class which she joined. 

"What greater honor is there?" Stringer said, shaking her head. "So, if you have the greatest honor that there is, you need to have the greatest words. Now what are those? What's greater than 'Thank You'"?

Stringer was introduced by long time friend and coach at Cheyney State: John Chaney. She was quoted to say what she knows about basketball came from learning from Chaney.
