The groups selected to play in the 2008 Beijing Olympics were chosen yesterday. The 10 women's teams were divided into two groups. The teams first drew their grouping lots. After they have been selected into their respective groups, they drew the number for their competition order. The results are as follows:
The participating teams on the women side are:
Australia, China, Japan, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, the U.S.A., Germany Britain and the Netherlands
