Latvia Showed Its Domination In Group A Against Senegal

Latvia did not let up a bit during the first quarter by holding Senegal to only 5 points (29-5) in 10 minutes of play. Top players such as Jekabsone-Zogota and Gunto Basko showed their hot shooting hands from the 3point arc by combining with (5/10) from 3pt land. The second quarter Senegal woke up and doubled their total points by scoring 10 but Latvia would not let them get back into the game.

After the half, Latvia dominated the second half by scoring 50-19 by locking in on defense and shooting well from the free throw line with 21/28 from the charity strip.
