Australia and USA Stampede Through Competition

Australia and USA National Teams clearly proved today that they are favorites and strong going into the Beijing Olympics Basketball Tournament next week. Australia dominated Mali in a scoring 112 points and holding Mali to 43 points. Lauren Jackson led the way for the Opals with 24 points, including 3-6 from behind the arc.

In the next game, USA showed Russia after leading 43-19 at the half, that they were the stronger team. Becky Hammon and her new Russian National Team seem to still be lacking chemistry.USA Womens National Basketball Team went on strong to win 93-58 over Russia.

Both undefeated teams Australia and USA will be facing each other tomorrow in the last game of the night.
