The Womens Czech Republic National Team meant business going into the second game of the first round by starting the first quarter with a 23-4 advantage.Mali had no answers for Hana Machova who scored 14 points. Mali was able to get back into the game by outscoring the Czechs 18-15 in the 2nd quarter and lead by leading game scorer Djenebou Sissoko with 24points.
During the stretch of the second half the Czech Republic dominated Mali and finished the game 81-47.
