Host China Womens Basketball Reach Semifinals Over Belarus

China ousted Belarus by 15points to reach the semifinals of the Olympic Basketball Tournament in Beiijng. The first half was dominated by China both defensively and on offense. Miao was the game leading scorer with 28 points while shooting an amazing 77.8% in field goals and going 3/5 from behind the arc with a 60% shooting percentage. Miao was just too hard to stop in the final quarter despite Belarus comeback in the second half.

China will advance to the semifinals on August 21st  to face Australia who defeated the Czech Republic by 33 points.
