Three ex-UCONN players (Diana Taurasi, Swin Cash, Sue Bird) are happy that the USA Women's Squad trampled over their ex-team and Coach Geno Auriemma by 16 points (90-74). Diana Taurasi scored 14 points, while Lisa Leslie scored a team high 19pts in only her second game with the USA squad after being off an entire year.
The USA outrebounded UConn 47-37 and passed off for 24 assists on 31 field goals. UCONN played with more poise by only committing nine turnovers while the USA team turned the ball over 16 times.
