Jacksonville Cougars New WBCBL Team

The WBCBL is expanding out to Florida this year with the addition to the new Jacksonville Semi-Pro basketball Team "Cougars". 

"The Cougars are a privately owned team who are all about assisting talented players who have a love for the game of basketball, showcase that talent. Those who may not have a venue after high school or college. The Cougars are ecstatic about offering access to a higher level of competition to help these ladies “manifest their dreams” The Cougars will host games in Jacksonville, FL."  

The owner of the Jacksonville Cougars, Shirl Johnson is excited to join the WBCBL. Johnson hopes the exposure will put the city of Jacksonville on the map for a “Gateway to Greatness for Women’s Basketball".
