Fly Highing Score As Phoenix Skims Past San Antonio

All top five starters for the Phoenix Mercury were in double digits to end their defeat over San Antonio Silver Stars during the first match up of the series. The Mercury, led by Cappie Pondexter (26pts) and Diana Taurasi (20pts) took a wild high scoring game of 102-100. An exciting first game it was for both teams but in the last second, two important free throws by Cappie Pondexter made the difference. 

Mercury lead the series 1-0 over San Antonio.
