The WNBA announced the following awards after the regular season of the 2008 season of the WNBA.

  • Defensive Player of the Year - Lisa Leslie (L.A. Sparks)
  • Coach of the Year -Mike Thibault  (Seattle Storm) 
  • Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award - Vickie Johnson (Silver Stars)
  • Most Improved Player - Ebony Hoffman (Fever)
Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards will be presented soon.
