WNBA Conference Finals Set

The 2008 WNBA Conference Finals will start tonight. The fourth seeded Sparks fought hard to surprise the Seattle Storm by winning in Seattle to get to the conference finals. The L.A. Sparks have had pressure all season with top players such as Lisa Leslie and most celebrated rookie Candace Parker to win a WNBA Title. The team is two wins away from a WNBA Finals. The Sparks will face top playing backcourt and frontcourt the San Antonio Silver Stars who has lead the West as the top seed throughout the season.

The match up will be great and look for Becky Hammon to prove everyone wrong about her game. She is playing in her best season as a professional in the WNBA.

On the East Conference Finals side, New York Liberty made some surprises to get to the conference finals. They will need a lot of offense and defense to get to the WNBA final as they face former WNBA Champions Detroit Shock.
