I guess you could call it a bit of luck. The San Antonio Silver Stars won at the buzzer on Saturday with a jumper by Sophia Young to get by the Sparks (67-66).Yesterday, Becky Hammons 35 points and career playoff scoring high charged her team into their first appearance in the WNBA Finals as an organization. The game was scrappy and a lot of bad calls for both teams but San Antonio had the final say with the scoreboard ending 76-72.

Lisa Leslie fouled out and the team had trouble without her presence on defense and rebounding. Candace Parker and DeLisha Milton-Jones both scored a team high 16points. For the Silver Stars without a doubt Becky Hammon was the most valuable player during the Texas Show Down with 35 points while shooting 6/8 from behind the arc and 10/18 from the floor.

San Antonio will await the winner of the Eastern Conference Final which will be held tonight.
