Tina Thompson Signs With Sparks

Tina Thompson, one of the first players in the WNBA and who has only played with one team (Houston Comets) until it folded last summer. This year Thompson was a free agent and now her new home will be the L.A. Sparks. Her experience of 12 years in the league will help the team now that Candace Parker will be out until the end of season. Thompson will team up with former college teammate and USA Basketball Team Lisa Leslie under the basket. It will be great to see those two team up again.
