image The 2010 WNBA Draft Fourth-Overall Pick, Epiphanny Prince, will be receving his Russian Citizenship and is expected to suit up for the Women's National Team in the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship for Women in Czech Republic.

The 5-foot-9 guard, who is playing for the Chicago Sky and is averaging 9.1 points and 2.4 assists per game this season, was not included in the National Pool Team of USA.

"Prince will be the starting point guard of the Russian national team” said Spartak Moscow General Manager Steve Costales in a FIBA Europe interview.

Prince, who recorded 113 points during a game in her high school career, will likely play alongside fellow American Becky Hammon. The San Antonio Silver Stars guard was a naturalized Russian Citizen which enabled her to play in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and last year's Eurobasket in Latvia.

However, Hammon hasn't made a decision yet, whether to stay with San Antonio or play for Russia once again in the biggest tournament in Women's Basketball.

Russia, which is currently ranked second in the FIBA World Rankings, was drawn and Group C and will compete Spain, Korea, and Mali.
