USA Retired Chamique Holdsclaw Playing In Poland

Chamique Holdsclaw announced her retirement in the WNBA in June 2007 and four months later traveled the seas to play in Poland. Holdsclaw played in Poland during the offseason last year with the same team Lotos PKO BP Gdynia . Her team is ranked third in the PLKK (Poland Women's Basketball League) and Holdsclaw is averaging 12.75 points. Chamique is joined by American Dominique Canty who signed with Lotos PKO BP Gdynia in late October. Hopefully, Holdsclaw will find a new meaning of basketball in Poland to rejoin the WNBA next summer.
