Swin Cash Shocked With USA Womens Basketball Selection

Swin Cash a 2004 Athens Olympic medalist was not selected to travel and participate with the USA Womens National Basketball Team for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics in China. Cash has been on the preparation team during the past years and thought she would be selected on the team. The biggest shock for Swin Cash is that she was not even selected as an alternative for the team.

"To not be an alternate is the biggest surprise for me, and why it hurts so much," Cash said.

Cash earlier this summer was traded from the Detroit Shock to the Seattle Storm where she is averaging 11.4. points and 5.50 rebounds per game with Seattle in 3rd place in the Western Conference of the WNBA>
