Euroleague Womens Final Eight Back in Ekaterinburg


The city of Ekaterinburg is expecting once again to host the Final Eight of the Women’s Euroleague Championship. The Final Eight is to held April 7th – 13th 2014 after the best seven teams are decided following the regular season and play-offs to compete and joining UMMC in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

The capital city of the Russian region Sverdlovsk proved to be a wonderful host on both occasions, with the 5,000-seat DIVS Sports Hall providing the perfect setting for the season-ending event.”We are delighted to be returning to Ekaterinburg following on from the success of 2013,” said FIBA Europe Secretary General Kamil Novak, adding: “The enthusiasm for UMMC and for women’s basketball in general is exceptional in Ekaterinburg.”

On October 29th, during the Supercup the unveiling of the Euroleague Final Eight logo will take place.
