EuroLeague Women Play-Off Pairings Now Set

The 2013 EuroLeague Women regular season commenced on Wednesday and the 15 teams that will advance to the next round have been determined.
Leading the pack is UMMC Ekaterinburg that finished with an impressive 11-1 record. However, they have been selected as the host of the Final Eight, which means that they would not need to participate in the Play-offs, leaving Russian rival Sparta&K MR Vidnoje as the top seed.
Sparta&K MR Vidnoje, who finished with a 10-2 record, will be pitted against 15th qualifier Municipal Targoviste, who barely made it into the next round if not for their 72-64 win against Good Angels Kosice on Wednesday.
Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Good Angels Kosice, and Bourges Basket, who all ended the regular season with 9-3 records will be the 3rd to 6th seed in the Play-Offs.
Fenerbahce will face Uni Gyor, Galatasaray against ZVVZ USK Prague, Good Angels Kosice against Perfumerias Avenida, while Bourges Basket will go up against Wisla Can-Pack.
The seventh-seeded Nadezhda that finished with an 8-4 card will face tenth-seeded CCC Polkowice, while eighth and ninth seed Famila Schio and Rivas Ecopolis will face each other in the next round.
The first and second leg of each Play-Off match will be on February 19 and 22, while the third leg, if necessary will be on February 27. The winner of each pairing will advance to the Final eight, joining host UMMC Ekaterinburg.
