Spain Comes Back Day Two Stronger Against New Zealand

After opening the Beijing Olympics with a close loss to China, Spain came back stronger in second day of the Olympics by defeating New Zealand. Spain had most of control of the game throughout the first half by going into half time with a good cushion lead 40-27. During the 3rd quarter, New Zealand chipped the lead down to 10points but by the 4th, Spain pulled back up starting with a 13 point lead (60-47) at the start of the 4th.In the end, a few strides by New Zealand was not enough as Spain were able to score and defend closing the game with a 23 point advantage (85-62).

Spain will face Czech Republic and New Zealand vs China on Tuesday, August 13th.
